i have a technician coming out to replace the mobo on my studio 1558 laptop. about how long will that take?

Seemed like a good idea to put a video in fast motion, similarly, broke the motherboard of my xps 1330. (in a fraction of a second). The replacement is difficult and expensive to get $ 485. After three years, died in a cloud of dust and smog. It was not by heating. The next time will avoid this.

That is a very cluttered workspace some of the sensitive components could get damaged.

I guess that's ok though, they come home to you and do it right there in your kitchen or whatever workspace that's available. Clutter doesn't hurt the parts, static electricity does. ;)

I agree with Sebs....no big deal really. But it looks impressive mostly because of sped up vid. The real joke is what they charge. LOL I'll do that shit for half the price AND guaranty it......

Yes, the price is a joke. I paid ZERO for it. If that's not a joke I don't know what is. :)
