In the first of a new series "Two Minute Tips", Autodesk Technical Evangelist Rob Cohee offers up some advice for new and veteran Digital Prototypers. Here Rob introduces the idea of modeling similar geometry using different features for each attempt. This technique has been useful in learning where to use a Revolve vs. an Extrusion, or a Loft vs. a Sweep. While the geometry is admittedly simple, focus on the concept of learning new features and this will be an educational two minute break from your day.
