CycleOn for Propellerhead Record+Reason

CycleOn is a real-time playback system for ReCycle REX loops. This combinator based instrument patch is designed to create live performance and DJ Style effects using Propellerhead Software Record + Reason 4.0 (both applications are required). The combinator is the creation of Kurt Kurasaki (Peff), and features graphics by Bitplant. The Peff 035 - CycleOn Combinator Refill comes with about 120 preset patches and includes content from Loopmasters, GW Childs, Goh Nakamura, and Tim Bulkley.

The main features of CycleOn include Tempo Synchronized Loop Playback; crossfading between two loops; auto-synchronized start and stop; loop start re-triggering effects; delay based audio juggling; a dual stage beat repeater effect; and one-click effect initiator buttons. The controls are programmed to be used in a live situation, and when used in conjunction with a control surface, CycleOn patches form the foundation of a compelling performance piece.

Why do I have to own both Reason and Record to download this? Just bought Reason 6 which is effectivily both. Quite frustrating I can't download. Looks ace!

@RodHullIOnceWasHim Is there a problem off the propellerhead website? These patches work fine in Reason 6. Otherwise you need Reason 4/5 + Record.

@PeffTV Yeah, it won't let me download it because it says I need Reason and Record and I only have a Reason 6 license. Maybe you could ask them to sort the problem (or message me an alternative link on here or to my Propellerhead user ADePSP).

Ive only just found this on the Reason Site.This is what ive been looking for along time. Question for ya. I have tons of rex loops like Amens , can i put them into the 2 rex players or do i have to use the combinator patches that are given with this download. basicly i wanna use my own loops how would i go about doing this. I havent got it yet as i need to register Reason n Record. Thankyou for you time :)

@remixx1977 Yes, you can load in custom loops into the loop players. I've just posted a new video about taking advantage of the new Dr.OctoRex in Reason 5+Record 1.5 package where you can load 16 loops into the combinator.

The refill is available on the propellerheads website in the free refill section, and it include empty template configurations that you can customize.

Ps - I think i know what i am doing wrong now?. Do i have to have both Record and Reason linked together to access the Presets?. I havent loaded up Record yet to try it but will later. Is this the case. Appreciate it mate :)

Hi there Peff. Ive finally downloaded the refill , but when i load up a combinator and click to find patches it says there are none , i want to do exacty what you did in this video. Just a bit confused with it lol! Its probly something simple i am missing the point on. Many thanks :)
