Here is how the bleach universe was created.

In the beginning, there was Kenpachi and Yachiru, because Kenpachi had just blown the shit out of everything else in our universe. Kenpachi then created the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo, and filled them with powerful guys for him to fight for his amusement.

Nearly all the Captains fighting together. Things look kind of bleak until the fan favorite - Captain Berserker arrives. His awesomeness is so overwhelming it can pierce the sky and scorch the clouds.

I think Kenpachi was born in Gurren Lagann but moved to Bleach when he'd heard that they needed more awesome fighters.

Its not a worm hole, he's creating a tunnel of flower petals so he won't be attacked as he moves towards the tower. That's why they show him jumping through it not flash stepping into it at a guess.
