In this video I compare Chrome 12 vs Firefox 5 vs Internet Explorer 9 vs Opera 11.50 vs Safari 5 to see which is fastest at Javascript, general web browsing, HTML5 compliance, memory usage and GPU hardware acceleration. Each browser has their own pros and cons as well as special features however here I just look at the raw benchmarks to determine the winner.

The benchmarks I use are the V8 Benchmark Version 6, Peacekeeper, how much memory each browser takes up as measured from Task Manager, HTML5 Fishbowl and the HTML5 Test. Each is run multiple times on the same Windows 7 computer to ensure a fair fight.

I use Opera, chrome and IE 9 (default). But Opera is the best among them!

@tesihmil dude, I can't even begin to say how wrong you are, while I will say the best web browser is a matter of opinion, IE is far worse than Opera and always will be.

@minimoney15 not to mention all the little things, like being able to use notes, manage emails, see all the page info, and even create tab windows inside a single opera window. It's really all the little things that make Opera amazing and far ahead of the competition in terms of functionality, speed and innovation.
