It's easy to see that he did, in fact, live a totally drug free lifestyle! This was done only 4 months ago, and he still looks and sounds so damned youthfull. Compare what he looks like, to all the other 70's hard rockers such as Plant, Page, Woods and especially Keith Richards.... who all look and sound like they're 90 years old!!
Ian Anderson's interviews are always enjoyable to listen to. Intelligent..... and.... unlike interviews with Ozzy......free of the need for sub-titles!

@PRAK14 You are very fortunate, I envy you.
I use to work as a radio talk show host here in the USA, if I ever get back into it I will have Ian at the top of the list for interviews. Perhaps the reason I never did it before was because I always wanted to have him in studio. Meeting Ian would be a life long dream fulfilled.
I live in New England, and he is always performing in this area. Now it's just all up to luck.

Back in the day,Ian was the OLDEST looking 30 year old,now he looks like a very healthy, youthful 62 year old. Good thing he stopped smoking the cigarettes.

Ian Anderson is not only a very intelligent, thoughtful gentleman.... he's a great artist and performer. You'll always remember a Jethro Tull concert.
If I can meet just one celebrity before I die it would be Ian. I came very close to meeting him back in June. Met Doanne Perry, he was very engaging, nice guy.

@infodisinfo - It was a privilege to film Ian and so intimately, in the darkish basement of a west London pub. When I hit the brightness of the street, I realised that I had been in the presence of a Great Man. Saw him perform Thick as a Brick at The Royal Albert Hall in the 70's.
