Don Pagliaccio, the Boss of a Providence, RI Crime Family with roots in old world Circus Performers, seeks to avenge the murder of his eldest son Russo, by eliminating the man he thinks is responsible. Eddie, the leader of a rag tag group of Magicians cum Criminals, is the target. Don assembles his Captains with intentions both personal and professional. When the dust settles and the two men are left, both find that all is not as it appears to be.
