@CPCamcorder That is not why it is called the rattler it is called that because of a rattlesnake. didnt u see the snake on the beginning of queue line

I know it's supposed to bend, but shit. That's a fuckin waterbed.
-
@calcajun I believe that they also installed new track on that section.

@kevincostertycoon3 I rode it. I hate that ride! Its not scary, I didnt scream once. It rattles too roughly! (FWI, I know, im not stupid thats why its called the Rattler.) When I went on, me & my cousin bumped heads, hit against the seats, and UGH! It was horrible! By the end of the ride I felt like i was jumped!

ok, i know i already commented on this, but THE WHOLE FUCKING TRAIN SWAYS WITH THE STRUCTURE!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!
Ok I know this is old but if i didn't say, it is bending because support cables are not installed that help support this section and the force the train puts on it. They were probably replacing the cables and prefered to put wear and tear on the ride instead of it being closed.

Video shot in 2006.

Yes, they wanted it to be taller so at the last minute during building extended the drop deeper. This proved to put too much G forces on people.
When i filmed this the support cables were not connected. therefore much more bend than usual.

Thanks.
I looked for every possible good angle that a General Public can get.
Did he same thing with the Megazeph Vid except the onride close to track was taken during a ride by myself five minutes before the park opened, backside and Employee parking lot shots since i worked for Six Flags New Orleans

That is a high speed section quite high off the ground. It does bend quite a bit. This is NORMAL for that section. At the time of filming in 05 the support cables were off making it bend very far. This is ok for a short time. Although it still bends quite a bit now it is less since the cables have been replaced.
