This edumentary (or PEPumentary ?) explores the methods and content utilized to address the needs of students of color in urban schooling. As a response to irrelevant and dehumanizing education for students of color, Ethnic Studies serves as a tool for service, social justice, and self-determination. From the perspectives of students, teachers, and community members we reveal how Pin@y Educational Partnerships (PEP) bridges the university to the community and supports learning and education as practices of freedom.
