  • This is 9/11 right there

  • @joe222ify ...how is it 9/11?

  • The motion of the cloud, itself, is very well-done. Something a bit lacking in the sandiness of the buildings, I can't quite put my finger on it, but still, better than 99.99% of the population could manage, even with more high-end software. So kudos at any rate! :-)

  • @ZachariasLePuertre ...there are things I'd do differently now... maybe flames from the buildings before they're swept away. Problem is my hard drive died right after I output this so I lost the project and rebuilding it would take too long. I was lucky not to lose the output file that's here. I think it's good for being mostly self-taught. I'm working on a new disaster video more destructive than this one... just waiting for a certain effects plugin to be released. Thanks for the kudos =)

  • why is the nuke just chillin on the ground?

  • @ieatlotsofbunnies .....why not? lol

  • Some tips. Blinding flash, not lens flare, fireball rises much faster, this is more like slow mo. But yeah pretty good on the cloud.

  • I hope im in the Empire State Building if a bomb goes off. Did you see the view those people had of it from up there!? Damn nice if I say so myself!

  • @BMFstudiosNYC An actual nuclear bomb wouldn't do this much damage, though. Most skyscrapers would probably remain standing, especially if they didn't take a direct hit from the blast itself. The heat wouldn't simply dissolve the buildings, and the shockwave itself is more or less the strength of an EF5 tornado. The towers may have their outer walls and portions of the interior burned or swept away, but much of the structure themselves would likely remain standing.

  • I love this, it has a nice comic book style to it.

  • Nice job.

  • i don't like it

  • @carvajulio
