The Making of The Lion King Part 1

This is from the first of 4 parts from the Laserdisc edition of The Lion King.

As an avid fan, I personally have not seen this footage anywhere else yet and a few of my friends wanted it posted on youtube so I decided to help share it with the world.

It is hosted by Robert Guillaume (Rafiki) and covers how the characters were designed from the live models, the music and shows a few scenes of the storyboard process.

@thelionkinglover185 No. I actually ran this through a program I own that saved it in HD. xD

However, at the time remember what we think of as grainy was the 90s HD lol

this movie is so UNIQUE, inspiring, emotional and amazing! I love it I'm 19 and I know every words by heart. This documentary is very interesting!! thank you for posting it on youtube. As a disney fan, I like watching how artists made their work and they were inspired. :)

I love the line where they say "maybe in the future someone will be inspired by TLK and do something great". If I ever make it in this world, I would refer back to this because I SO was.
