  • I just played ys3 for msx and nes, and this song is absent from those versions. I strongly believe the snes is the best ys3 that will ever be.

  • @IdeonFukkatsu and this fact you've discovered only proves it!

  • lol, one of my favorites, the other three are: Clock tower, empty town and lava pit

  • Now that you mention it, it only takes like 20 seconds to get thru this corridor. It reminds me of how tales of phantasia has that decisive song at the beginning fight that's long as well but never heard.

This is a REALLY good track. EXTREMELY CREEPY. And it has never been remixed properly. Ys 3 has the strongest soundtrack in the series.

  • @IdeonFukkatsu You should play the PCE / Turbo CD version ;) It may not have the best graphics, but it sure as hell has the best music, being CD audio.

  • gotta love when music randomly pops in your head...missed this game.

  • @NikkeiDS - This song does have a remix, in Ys: The Oath in Felghana. Look up "Theme of Chester."

  • yeah, unfortunately, when they were making new versions, i don't think they considered that track as one of them. Oath in Felghana may have made one, but I'm not sure.

  • yea it was! thats why it sux how how it doesnt have a remix. it totally deserves one.

  • oh, defiantly. great music and artwork, and still love the noise that the wildcat makes when it pounces them, heh

  • WASNT the intro intense? IT had to be one of the most well done cutscenes on the SNES. The gameplay graphics were subpar compared to that :P

  • It's a shame that you can ONLY hear the traveling theme at the beginning of the game, really is fantastic.
