Spock and his advices to girls - Nimoy sings maiden wine

How could I resist?
It's childish, I know...but I was compelled to make this video!

The music is "maiden wine", the version from the LP "The touch of Leonard Nimoy" (the vinyl!) not the one from TOS episode Plato's stepchildren, written and performed by Leonard Nimoy

A little explanation.
This video grew ambiguous. It's my intention that it should be a very light and fluffy one.
Kirk's levity is shown in opposition to Spock's solemnness in a soft way and this is the leitmotiv.
Beyond this, you observe other contrasts in their behavior.
Spock doesn't consider women as a preferred pastime and Kirk is an innate Casanova. Yet taking care of each other is spontaneous and instinctive to both.
0:18-0:20 is unbelievably inartificial moment when Spock, who is attending to other duties, stops to look at Kirk's hand, determining it is fine and moves on yet Spock is not even a doctor!
They share a deep friendship and an enduring bond that offsets their affectionate and effective affective needs for both.
Spock warns girls about Kirk because he knows that Jim is not going to be earnest with them. Kirk may be truly in love and, in good faith, has asked much of these women (Rayna overpays with her life men's selfhood) but he is not capable of maintaining his feelings towards them.
So Spock looks chewed by his friend's behavior. This may be because he objects to Kirk's giddiness and to all it's heavy implications. It may simply be because he is annoyed by all these romances!
In the end, you can conclude the grinning playboy Kirk is reassuring Spock or the he is simply turning in a cheery light laugh at Spock's seriousness.
In both cases, Spock's mild smile let us know that he understands and accepts this is the way his friend is!

If you think about it, the interesting thing is that he's usually making out with someone against his will or as a useful, albeit convenient, part of his battle strategy. (Andrea in "What Are Little Girls Made Of?" - he was trying to screw with her mind, Uhura - against his will, Sylvia in Catspaw - trying to distract her...) I think Edith Keeler was more or less the exception.
