Zero people need to get their asses beat down.

@freakscene88 I never mentioned "words", I said there was no-one singing ;-)
Anyway: Tortoise is a nice instrumental band. As far as I know they only made songs when they made an album with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy.

@rosmrosm You're wrong sir.
Webster's definition 4 of a song - a distinctive or characteristic sound or series of sounds. examples whale songs, bird songs... They have no words.

@TheChawMan This isn't a song because there's no-one singing. It is (great) instrumental music, but it isn't a song.

@ElVaah Right on for the Dianogah mention. First time I ever heard of them (in a Vinyl Ink Records update in 1996) the review name-dropped Tortoise. And this song is probably the reason. The resemblance is uncanny. Dianogah may be inactive at the moment but I got to see them in Philly in 1997. Missed them on the tour for their last album!

Some seriously fantastic stuff here. Tortoise is friggin epic!

If anyone is looking for more music like this, look into Dianogah. Two bassists and a drummer, it sounds incredible.

I have listened more than 1400 times.
It's sad that one of the most amazing songs of all-time only has 1,400 views.
