Hey, I like your tone :)

I play sax for 8 years now but I never had my own saxophone. Now I'm trying to figure out what saxes I have to try. How does this sax sound compared with an Selmer super action serie II? Because that is the one I'm playing now.

it depends on what sound you want. It's no use me telling you what the difference in sound is when it's your sax. haha.

In this video I was using a Keilwerth SX90R shadow. It's a nice sax with nice tone. I currently play on a Buffet S1 which suits my needs better.

I suggest you go to several shops and try out different kinds of sax, but if you've been playing on a Series II for a long time, you might decide that you prefer to other saxes.

amazing. i got given this piece of music to learn yesterday. im so excited to play it but i forgot to bring my sax home -_- will get it tomorrow :) just out of interest how long had you been learning to play your sax before you learned this piece? x

you are great. great expression and interpretation. and great sax too. i was actually going to buy the shadow but i found a similar sounding sax for about 3,500 less and had to go with it seeing as im only a highschool student and didnt really have the money. i just hope keilwerth is still making them when i do have hte money. great playing, i think ive watched this about fifty times so far and hope to do it for my solo and ensemble contest.
