On December 3rd 2008 LNER A4 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" Took the Cathedrals Express from London Waterloo to Bristol Temple Meads.
We see the train first at Ascot where they stopped for a water top up. Moving on we catch up with the tour near Basildon, we are also nearly bowled out by the HST.
At last the sun came out as we see SNG after it's second water stop at Callow.

Sir Nigel Gresley at her best on solid track without any slipping of the drivers at departure. I like to think of her as LNER 4498.
