This is a multi-part series comparing various Telecaster pickups. I'm using a Fender tweed Champ amplifier set just under 5, no effects, cable straight to the amp. .046-.010" strings on all guitars. Pickups on the traditional Tele are Callaham's cyrogenic Fralin, on the Nashville- Am Std, Tex-Mex, '51 RI, on the Bender- Stew Mac humbucker, Fender Nocaster.

This video shows the various combination sounds from each guitar

  • Great job, thanks. Just one question, what are the pot values 250k or 500k?

  • @straightface The 'bucker has a 500k volume. All the others are 250k thru out.
