  • nomon, Don't make this into a 'RACE ISSUE'. That's the COMUNISTIC PROPAGANDA tecnique that is used to avert opposition. The so called Opposition voted for EVO, But they soon realized HE IS A COMUNIST LIKE CHAVEZ. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON THE OPPOSE EVO MORALES. PUNTO FINAL! JAMAS AL COMUNISMO!

  • The fucken referendum is ilegal. How can you win when all the jurys and authorities are of the same team? Even the media were supporting the separation. You can see this kind of things only in this poor, caotic and ignorant country.

  • Santa Cruz allways wanted to separate from Bolivia. But now they use the ignorant peopple to gain more power than ever, using it against the indian race. Santa Cruz leaders are clearly and for sure racists. They hate the fact that an Indian could be president.

  • The Media Luna oposition is "Home Grown" for sure. Many of the so called European Bolivians did vote for EVO in hopes of a great change. Though to their major disappointment...they realized he was just like Chavez, and Fidel, a Comunistic-Leninistic form of Gov't. Fact is the people finally realize that Comunism is the product of Evo Morales. They do not want their children to live in Comunism. Holland Socialism is fine, not Comunism. Punto Final!

  • Hey SG1243, just an FYI. the following highly recognize people shows the SUPPORT OF EVO:

former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark; Nobel Prize recipients Adolfo Pérez Esquivel and Rigoberta Menchú; Professor Noam Chomsky; authors Eduardo Galeano, Ignacio Ramonet and Howard Zinn; liberation theologian Frei Betto; Cuban singer Silvio Rodríguez.

  • The goal of the referendum is two-fold. First, it seeks to put political and economic control of the country's considerable oil and natural gas wealth in the hands of the separatist elements within the Bolivian bourgeoisie. Secondly, it seeks the overthrow of the government of Evo Morales, which has emphasized the empowerment of the historically oppressed, majority Indigenous population and has pursued the nationalization of the country's resources.

  • ok, prove to me that what Santa Cruz did was legal. Prove to me, that their are not selfish for not sharing the wealth to the indigenous people of Bolivia, prove to me, that the so called Leaders in Santa Cruz are not corrupted and prefers profit over people. Please, comment on your so called knowledge on this very important topic. Unstead of using profanity and name calling, show me a reason why Evo Morales is the so called bad leader you all claim he is.

  • Why don't you shut the fuck up!! you don't know what you're talking about, go do some research first dumbass...

  • Shame on Santa Cruz. Evo wants the country's wealthier eastern regions to contribute more to the poorer west, where the bulk of his indigenous supporters come from.
