I wish you would have shown how to peel and pull apart the pomegranite effectively. I always have trouble with those and end up squirting red juice at myself making stains. lol, it's always been a problem.. there must be a better way.

Is persimmon very sweet? For calorie reduction w/salad dressing I have been just putting spices on instead of a fatty dressing. But I like this idea too. I might try it with really ripe tomatoes.

Thats a big beautiful salad! It's unfortunate it's a huge lunch & there isn't really a protein source in it! I love you & I love ur vid's. I know that protein is very important for all diets but esp raw/vegan. It's the one macronutrient that can't can't be "converted" ... you HAVE to have to survive (for example, if you eat a lot of protein .. your body can convert it to fat & carb sources to survive..protein can't be created from carbs or fat.) I'd love to hear some of ur fav protein sources!

@fridaynightfashions This is what I hear the most from people, "but what about protein?!" There's a HUGE misconception about how much protein and fat we actually need. There actually is protein in it... fruits and veggies have protein and fat in them. You would be amazed at how much I eat in a day... I get more than enough calories, protein and fat in my diet... don't you worry! (: I feel amazing eating this way and that is evidence enough for me!

@marymargaretd ONE! Aha... Since I eat a raw food vegan diet and my food consists of mostly fresh fruits and veggies; I have to make sure that I eat enough calories everyday. Lots of love!! xx
