I thought McFadyen did a good mr Darcy -05 as well. But later on I watched this -95 series..... Thats a GOD DAMN!! Trust me...

I would kill for having my own mr Darcy at home..... Especially if he had the looks and the charisma as Colin Firth..... OMG he´s sexy even as a proper stuckup ass...

Well, mr Darcy was a rather cold person for those who didnt knew him. Thats the point with mr Darcy. A cold, arrogant, stuck-up man who thought everyone should bow for him. I believe thats how Austen wanted her mr Darcy - thereby "Pride".

And she wanted a Lizzy quite the opposite - she was polite, but spoke her mind and was not afraid to stand up to mr Darcy. She disliked him deeply partly because of his rude manors & the way he treated her and everone else "below him" - thereby "prejudice".
