well i dont know any Haitians that show an a American flag they all rep the Haitian Flag but we are an organization for Haitian and Haitian American students so thats why we have it in our logo

HASA= Haitian American Student Association that would be why there is an American flag. Plus, we are in the USA and it does show our respect to the US.
