Turbo LS1 V8 Datsun 240Z drag racing

I just recently finished installing my 4.8L truck motor in my datsun 240z. Also with a borgwarner S475 turbo. And a TH350 trans. First night out with the new motor. not bad.

I did the axles myself. using pieces of the factory Q45 axle, and when Moser center shafts. Pretty pricey, but has not broken on me yet.

Rear end is an Infiniti Q45 VLSD with custom axles, 3.54 Gear ratio. Tires are MT ET drags 26x8.5x15

Hey, you going to LA Invasion this year? I was out there a couple years ago when you made your 10 second pass all motor with the 6 speed. I just got my 85 Volvo 760 running with a 5.3. I'll be running Sunday and Monday

Friend of Bigdeez? He showed me pics of your Volvo if that's you. I just got an 89 Volvo wagon running with my old LS1 and T56 from the Datsun. Pretty fun ride. I wont be attending this year, have a wedding to go to. :-( Let me know what you run.

yeah he's a good friend of mine. I used to have an LS1/t56 260z as well but I sold it. hopefully I'll have a couple decent videos to post of the volvo after the weekend
