wow i was having a brain fart regarding something as simple as getting the notes to play on my pad.. they weren't registering any sound.. so i open this trusty little bookmark and voila! im ready to make a beat again

lol i haven't made one in a awhile the pad probably went into hibernation or something

k so once i can make a beat using the drums on REDRUM, how can i record it!?!?!?

Can anyone help? ?

Just make a new noe lane (right click) on the redrum seqeunce and press record, then you can drum away!

I followed your steps and it keeps giving me an error message "Transmit scene data failed midi device not specified can you help PLEASE!!!

I had this problem producerskorner. My problem was I had changed the USB port it was in so I had to re-install the mdi drivers.

Also, thanks for the vid Stray, useful for a beginner :D

Make sure you've loaded the driver for the PadKontrol. Your preferences in the librarian software should have midi in set to part a and midi out set to ctrl.

can you switch back and forth between drum and instrument control live and without using the mouse? i want to be able to put down a drum loop, then switch to instrument control all without using the computer

ok like the guy below me said get the drivers for vista at the korg site because without them ur pc or laptop will read the old drivers.

Next you need the software which comes with the korg or call them up, once u got those two the rest is easy, hit me up if u need help
