This is a fugue in equality of parts (as opposed to equality of voices. It's a challenging study in G, which I just manage to play through (but not without glitches...) I find bass leading better with 7 strings.

  • you'll never know until you try.

mind you, I have flat feet, so maybe it makes it easier :) (or check out Aguado stand.)

  • hey! i´d love to see how you added that 7th string...sounds smart!!!

  • well, ermanno chiavi did it for me. He's in Zurich.

  • hi! nice piece! nice playing... may i ask you which guitar you play? :-) greetings from austria, little

  • yes, thanks, it's a Hirade7 (Takamine) originally 6-string, but I added a 7th...

  • you might try a capo on the third fret to reduce the wide stretches (giuliani might have intended this piece for a terz guitar)

  • good tip, or I could try my 63'

  • Very well played and it's a beautiful piece. Definitely sounds like it's beyond my current ability.

  • nice stuff

  • Very nice! I wish more people played this piece, I think it's one of Giuliani's best.

  • Wow, never heard this piece. Very nice. Is that an "A" frame? I could not get used to keeping both feet flat. Very nice playing.
