http://www.therenegadehealthshow.com - The infrared sauna vs. the steam sauna is just one of the four or five questions I answer today...

Lot of talk about 80-10-10 still, so I address some of my personal experience with it as well as my thoughts for those who want to transition into it.

I also talk a little about cacao (I will have a full fledged talk 2-4 sessions in the next few months about this and more so stay tuned!) and about Harvey Diamond from the book "Fit For Life".

Take a look...

  • I am thinking maybe you should have completed some research on saunas prior to answering that question. It is obvious that you just winged it.. lol. Anyway, there is no comparison... Infrared is a ton more beneficial... hands down!

  • How did Harvey Diamond change his ideas?

  • Why?

  • Hey Kevin, Can you tell me the difference between dry heat saunas (160-180) degrees & Infrared saunas (95-105) degrees? Both have infrared light bars.

  • I think one of the most important factors to mention about FIR saunas - is the fact that far infrared rays are exceptionally beneficial to the human body.

A FIR sauna @ 50 degrees C will make the human body sweat 2 to 3 times more than a traditional rock/steam sauna @ 95 degrees C - therefore you get a much greater removal of toxins from sweating significantly more.

  • I am curious, as a raw food enthusiast, why would you not incorporate more sprouted grains (quinoa, buckwheat etc..) in your diet instead of cooked grains? that is what i have been adding into my 80-10-10-ish diet to balance me out. I do not hear much talk of sprouted grains around here, is there something bad about sprouted grains that i do not know about?

  • tell kevin gianni laptops are bad, and to get a desktop PC.

  • My favorite book that I have read recently is Transforming the Global Bioshpere. It talks about real futuristic ways we as humans can make a sustainable way of life. It also talks about Herbovorious fish that is very abundant.

Would these fish be a useful source of food?
