[GT] iFoods - Overview

iFoods is a project for the environmental sustainability. The project, developed on iPhone, aims to convey information from different sources to merge them into a web service and to provide an interface to interact with virtual contents in an Augmented Reality environment.

The user is able to look for and display different kind of information about about restaurants, markets and farms in a the area.
A specific icon highlights the direction to localized and reach the chosen business and the application provides also the recommended route.

The georeferenced data concerning the routing are provided by the service googleMaps, while the details of the restaurants have been obtained from various catalogs available on the Web and stored in a database.
