Bhojpuri and UP folk cluture and music is where Bollywood stuff has evolved from. Most other states have folk cultures that were either too tribal or not as refined. All current Bhojpuri stuff we see seems to have taken Bollywood song/dance one step further into being too open in dressing and words..like in the west, which most young Indians are chasing nowadays.

Gunjan Kapoor, the heroine of this film is most beautiful bhojpuri heroines. If she enters bollywood she will reign the tinseltown. The hero of this film is also the producer investing a lot of money hence he could get a very beautiful heroine (read Gunjan) for his film. Gunjan has acted with some other bhojpuri heroes also. However the film (this one) is super hit due to this comely girl and songs are also very melodious in real bhojpuri sense.
