A man pays all his child support for nine years, with no visitation allowed, then ex remarries and new husand adopts. Legally child support should stop. Except in this situation bio-father still ordered to pay, even though he has filed the necessary papers to the court, but the state won't sign off. So now this child has three parents supplying financial support. True story from the state of Nebraska.

How can a judge put someone in retro-active status when he's been paying support on time just because a women files and not tell the man. Fuck Child support, both parents should be responsible for taking care of that child not just the man, I mean support is necessary but stop looking at men as deadbeats or whatever the fuck the system want to call it. I agree with this guy 100% if women have the choice to not have the kid by getting an abortion (which the guy has no say in) why cant they guy have a choice if he wants to have anything to do with the kid or not. my mind cannot comprehend the in justice in that....and to any one who says that men should pay and not have a choice because of the morality of it then your morality is DEAD WRONG!!!!!!!! its insane!

Child support is what we call a retro-active law. It attempts to right the wrongs of what was done in the past. It's under the guise of helping the child and was created after research firms conluded that it was good to enforce the laws as we know it.

Unfortunately, this law is failing and wil continue to fail. I've witnessed first-hand the *extreme* bias towars the non-custodial parent. Sickening. There's no accountability to if, indeed, the child ever sees a nickel of that money.

A person defaults on their agreement to pay their mortgage. The bank holding the agreement takes possession of the house because of the default. That is the penalty of default, loss of property.

But then, after the bank takes possession of the property it obtains a court order allowing it to continue sending the person who lost their property, a maintenance bill (mortgage, utilities, repairs) for that property.

Who's property is it? Who has the property? Who is responsible for the property?
