@aim2free - You cannot install 8Gb, 4Gb is the max. Also, you can't purchase it without Windows but you could install Linux on your own. I have had a few customers that have done this.

This must be the greatest computer in the world, however I have several times tried to contact Motion Computing, but never a reply. I want to know if I can use 8GB RAM as with my Lenovo X61 Tablet, and if I can get it without Windows (Linux user).
