This NXT robot moves by spinning a ball around itself. It steers by shifting weight from one side to the other. I thought it might make a good prototype for a robot that explores another planet. Dust would be kept out of the motors, etc.

  • Balldroids works well on flat surfaces.. try to put it in a hole and see what happens.. so no planetexploring.. ;)

    Good fun concept thoug.. office droid as hallway messenger? =)

  • Hamster- balls aren't good for the animals because they are very stresst when they are in that ball, and then they have a bad life.
