@MrNotperfectguy i can understand you need a living guru if that satisfies you. but make sure your guru is a puran sant or brahm giani. Brahm giani is a nirlep person who is deattached from the world. he does not have any family, sons wife or some one he calls his relatives. Brahm giani doesnot have his own businnesses or any source of income he only relies on god to feed him no matter how he does it. Brahm giani does not call him self guru even if he is. no hard feelings.

The guy in this video was a well known guru in northern India. Literally millions of people worshiped the him and thought he was an enlightened saint.

I assume you wouldn't insult a Christian by saying something similar about Jesus. Well, he was their version of Jesus.
