Women's Rights:
On March 8, 2011, we celebrate the many advancements women's rights have made in the world by partaking in International Women's Day festivities, but we remain cognizant of the many obstacles that women face particularly in the Arab world, the broader Middle East, and North Africa.
But in order to foster fundamental freedoms and human rights, we need our media to focus their attention on the plight of Middle Eastern women so that our policy makers can make informed decisions that promote their personal freedoms and professional opportunities.
Together we can put women's rights back on the Mideast media agenda.

shame on Honest Reporting Canada hiding behind "human rights" to demonize Arabs and Africans. Honest Reporting Canada is a propaganda machine who writes out pro-Israel reports to counter any criticism of Israeli policies. How about you first be transparent about who you are and advocate for democracy in Israel as well as defend Palestinian peoples rights violated by Apartheid Israel.

We read on the YouTube home page of HR "HonestReporting Canada is the only grass-roots organization ..." - I recommend to google Aish HaTorah (a Jewish Orthodox Ashkenazi organization and yeshiva) and scroll down to 1) Hasbara Fellowships and 2) to Honest Reporting where we read: "HR ... was established with the assistance of Aish HaTorah ..." It explains the rapid growth of Zionist trolls who all spread the same nonsense.

@ESO529 well when u control a persons mind u dont have to worry what they do. muslim girls are brainwashed to do whatever their male handlers tell them to just like black slaves were brainwashed to die for their slave masters. they grow up to believe that submitting in various forms is all they want in life. i mean who else would be dumb enough to put on a burka while their male counterparts can wear whatever they want! u muslims are geniuses when it comes to keeping women in line!

@ESO529 That took me one minute to find, with 446,000 other Google links on the subject. Do you know what *atypical* means? There you are, Muslims who want to improve their World, who face the truth, unlike you. You may not lie but there are other forms of dishonesty that are every bit as disgusting, & even murderous. That dishonesty is the selective focus that evades truth by selecting only facts that paper over that truth. It is the greatest sin a man can commit upon himself. It is you.

@ESO529
"The documentary was smuggled out at great risk by supporters of the major Iranian opposition movement, the People's Mojahedin. It is *atypical* only in that the victims on this particular day were men. Most often, women are stoned to death, usually for prostitution. If they are mothers, their children are often required by law to attend the atrocity, to watch them "repent" for their sins."
You remain utterly focused on narrow facts & only those that, in a vacuum, support your bigotry.

@RnBramwell Although the Iranian judiciary placed in 2002 a moratorium on death by stoning, stonings were reported in 2006 - 1 man and 1 woman, not officially confirmed, 2007 - 1 man, 2008 - 3 men, 1 unsuccessfully and 2009 - 1 man. In 2010, a woman Sakineh Ashtiani had her stoning sentence suspended after an international campaign. Info available to everyone on Wikipedia. 1 woman and 5 men ... but according to you only women are stoned ... Stop lying or don't get caught. That’s it for me.
