@eekeumssi It depends on the individual. Most white kids with light-color hair become darker as they get older. Few retain their light blond hair when they become adults. Genetics, I guess. That is why blond hair is considered as a sign of youthfulness and beauty in Western culture.

My point is: if you go to a shopping mall and see a lot of little blond kids running around, just be aware that most of those kids will lose their blond hair when they get older.

my mom says my dad was blonde as a kid and his hair got to the darker brown later on. i just thought it was random with him.

she had always used that to try and scare my brothers/sister that one day we'll wake up with red hair (we're half asian/white btw)...i'm not sure i'll ever know why she really said that though...

@eekeumssi Something about white people that is not widely known among Asians: many white babies are born with light blond hair, but their hair color becomes darker and turn into brunette/dark brown as they get older.
