  • Two questions came to me here...

    1) Could the cameraperson put the camera down and help a woman out and, 2) Why doesn't the Ethopians help the Somalians integrate and show them how to make better use of the land and its resources until they can return to their homeland?

  • To answer your first question regarding the cameraman. It's reenactment to show how these people live.

    To answer your last question

Ethiopia, it self is suffering from starvation and drought. It's own citizens are on the risk of becoming refugees on their land. This is regional problem and it effects so many lives.

There are World programs to help refugee such as these with food and medication etc...

  • So why is the US backing the Ethiopians taking over Somalia? This seems like a reversal of fortunes, so to speak, as the Ethiopians are taking over their country and causing a mass exodus of Somalians to other countries while making their own homeland unlivable by bringing yet another conflict to their lands.

I'm just trying to understand and seek more knowledge of the situation...

  • This is part of the war against so call on terror. Back in 2006 there was Islamic movement so moderate it had no connection to terrorist groups whatsoever who had taken country majority of Somali Cities. United states was fearful that it was going to be new Afghanistan so they decide to ask the Ethiopian government to invade their neighbors (somalia) to help ex warlords come to power. Ethiopians lost many of their soldiers and left the country 2008. They did this for money and for America.

  • @somalimotion Ethiopians in thier thousands move to Somalia, the lawless country without a government in search of a better life. they live and work theere amoung the people. yet Ethiopia treates Somalis in this way. In Ogaden, the somali people are oppressed just klike the palastinians are opressed.

    Independece for Ogaden!!!!!
