We have a second robot, which is a modified Roomba. It has infra red LEDs we track with the WiiMote.
We don't need the acceleration sensors, as the pan/tilt unit provides more accurate information.

you are using a wiimote on the head of the robot ... are you using only the infared cam or do you need the orientation and acceleration sensors, too? what for?
