You wouldn't want that. There is nothing that straps you into the cockpit, no seatbelts, no restraints of any kind. It would be far worse to come out of the cockpit mid flip and get pinned between a rollbar and the asphalt. At least the carbon/kevlar bodies have some flex and give to them when they roll over on you. (I am a F1 sidecar racer in the US)
im starting to think the drivers need two roll bars slightly above their helmet. Every highside i see the poor driver gets driven into the ground and a lot suffer serious head/neck/spine injuries
