Amazing video!!!

Excellent. Thanks. A real shoppers paradise. The windows are wonderful. And I liked the crowds outside but not inside. Truly insane the two days before Christmas.

@Mxsmanic My Sony Handicam is from 2005 and it's not that steady. Of course, neither is my hand. I have got to update my equipment. Thanks for the info.

Paris looks very very nice all dressed up for this time of year. The streets are full of people! what time of night was this taken? It's just beautiful. Merci!

@moofushu This was shot a little past 6 PM in the evening on Saturday, November 19, 2011. The stores were all still open at that hour. It gets a lot quieter once the big stores and the other stores in the area close.

Very nicely done. Do you use a steadycam device or software stabilization? How are your shots done above the crowd?

@paulgrem The Handycam I use has excellent active stabilization; recent Sony models are very good at this. Of course, you still need to have a reasonably steady hand, but with a little care the images are very stable (it also helps if you shoot at wide angles a lot). The shots above the crowd are simply done by holding the camera up high (hand-held).
