Adventuring around the country testing the mostly excellent Cabela's TCS™ Ghillie coverall in Mossy Oak™ Brush pattern, followed by a "door top" review. From Florida to Kentucky to California to Idaho, the video shows its use in a variety of foliage. It is an excellent ghillie options with a lot of upsides: super lightweight, compactable, breathable, sized large for underneath gear wear (even a tac vest works), good patterns, excellent hood, easy on and off, slant pockets, and relatively affordable (compared to many other ready made ghillie options). But it definitely is not perfect. A significant downside of the TCS™ Ghillie is the use of lightweight 100% cotton fabric strips for the camouflaging. They will shred in rough brush, will probably fade in use, and most importantly lack double-side camo printing. The lack of this reverse side camo creates a problem after the coverall has been packed up tightly then used: the fabric strips, bent from the storage, will reveal a non-camo lighter side that may diminish the suits effectiveness (depending upon terrain). These strips should be upgraded to 100% polyester fabric that is double-printed (by Cabela's). That would increase durability and resistance to rough use. However the current cotton fabric does a good job mimicking natural foliage as it moves with the wind and it does effectively break up the human form. Overall the TCS™ Ghillie is a remarkable quick donning ghille suit that provides instant, highly mobile, and impressively versatile camouflage, especially in the outstanding Mossy Oak™ Brush pattern. Compared to traditional burlap ghillies, the TCS™ is an improvement in most categories. /////////////Nutnfancy Initial Likeability Scale: 8 of 10 (may be seasonal in availability)

  • its not that hard to spot you.. your like fcking brighter colour than the surrondings

  • @skad4 True

  • @Kylef7735 true, but guarantee that 99% of the people who are saying this in relation to snipers/rifles have never or will never fire a rifle, and they're just basing their information from video games. Not saying that's wrong, but having that as a primary source doesn't make them look the least bit intelligent

  • @skad4 That doesnt mean you have to use it for that.

  • @Kylef7735 he does, but this product is made for hunters.

  • NATURAL VEGETATION IMPLEMENTATION missing.....

  • @TheFlyingKen I can see you have no flippen clue what the ghillie suit was originally made for.

  • @TheFlyingKen so why wont it work in real life against other snipers??im curious to know??

  • @nutnfancy i wasnt saying that natnfancy was acting like that, i meant all these people in the comments thinking that this will work in every environment and you are going to use this in real life sniper battles.

  • @xSluggySlugworthx i found a series put up a couple years ago. this guy seems to know what hes talking about. his channel is ghillieexpert
