Some objects in the distant ring of icy bodies called the Kuiper Belt are too small to observe by the sunlight they reflect. So astronomers are looking for their shadows. They monitor thousands of stars simultaneously in the hopes that one will be dimmed by the passing of an intervening small Kuiper Belt Object. The KBO transit event would last less than a second, and as this animation shows, any detection would be dependent on the star, KBO, and telescopes being perfectly aligned (Courtesy of National Central University, Taiwan)

  • @FlameSpartan It's not religious, it's science.

  • If you prey to god a giant hand will decend from the heavens and carry you to whatever planet, star or galaxy you wish to go to.

  • Spoken from a media influenced computer junky, lol

  • ask the play babies who are running YouTube, lol

  • what is it?

  • Free will?

Free will causes conflict. As long as there is man, there is war, and war never changes.

Free will is what made us the violent creatures we are

Normally I don't get into anything religious but this stood out to me

  • Why the fuck cant I reply directly to any fucking comments anymore youtube?!

  • Its our generation that's fucking it environmentally. We aren't going anywhere. We will continue to persist in a doom world we have created. If we go anywhere else without solutions here, same shit happens all over again. As long as there is man, there will be problems.

  • I am a Christian , i believe in God, and Jesus, but i am completely for the spending of public and private funds on space exploration, we need to get off the rock we screwed up.
