Outstanding Nebraska instructional facilitator Crystal Simpson of Fontenelle Elementary School in Omaha was surprised on November 11, 2008 with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award for her exemplary work in raising student achievement. Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley made the surprise announcement at a schoolwide assembly involving dignitaries such as Nebraska First Lady Sally Ganem.
