NAS Oceana Airshow Beach Blast

2008 NAS Oceana Airshow
Beach Blast - Virginia Beach
31st Street Park & Beachfront
Saturday September 20, 2008

IN THIS VIDEO, watch as a Super Hornet makes an afterburner pass over Virginia Beach, followed by Bill Leff performing his Starfire Night Sky Show and the USO Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs, and British Red Devils making a parachute jump onto Virginia Beach. Following the parachute jump, you will see one of two passes made by a Wyoming ANG C-130 Hercules. This would be the first time all weekend all of the parachute teams made any kind of jump anywhere in Virginia Beach.

I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was trying my best to get the best video under VERY WINDY conditions, which persisted through Saturday night.

Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • kroykee mate. that is some fine flyin.

  • I was on Sandbridge Beach that night and could see all of this just so slightly. It was even a pretty good show from so far out! The C-130 made numerous passes by our beach house, too.
