Greg your issue is that you are hanging on to HOPE. The sooner you realize there is no hope for this situation, the better off you will be. You, like many others, want things to be the way they were in the past. Live for today!  Which means, economic survival! It is sad, I know. Prepare as if you were to be invaded tonight! Buy guns, ammo, long-term storage food and water. Forget about the "good" times, prepare for collapse. Many can't or won't "wishing" things will get better.

My advice is to be careful because if you think now is bad, then I don't know that you'll have the inner strength to even continue living into the future. It's going to get a lot worse than it is today. These are still "the good times".
