A small collage sampling a few of the many great women wrestling matches we were blessed with this year featuring several styles from around the North American and Japanese wrestling scenes and I still have yet to probably display them all notably the luchadoras from AAA and CMLL among others. Showing just how much material I wanted to put in and had to decide to cut some for a 2 minute video.

Featuring the talents of...
Azumi Hyuga (who just retired a few days ago)
Ayako Hamada (of recent TNA fame)
Alissa Flash otherwise known as Cheerleader Melissa
Amazing / Awesome Kong
Commando Bolshoi
"Dark Angel" Sarah Stock / Sarita
Kayoko Haruyama
Kaori Yoneyama
LuFisto
Madison Eagles (of Australia)
Mercedes Martinez
Megumi Yabushita
Sara Del Rey
Taylor Wilde
Tojuki Leon
Wesna Busic

  • At 1:23 the girl in white looked like she was going to do Melinas Last Call.

  • @MultiSferguson She (Kaori Yoneyama) was, it is in fact a signature move she calls the U.S. ZOU.

  • What match is at 1:30

  • @XxPeakFreakxX If you mean the Japanese match, it's Kayoko Haruyama vs Kaori Yoneyama in a JWP title match. If you mean the American match shown right after that then it's Wesna vs LuFisto at SHIMMER.

  • @doloresm24 Problem? :D

  • Old video but good to see women's wrestling finding its niche in the last few years. Though the whole WWE Diva style sucks IMO, I guess it deserves credit for bringing some prominence back to the women in at least a certain way. Impact Wrestling is also doing a great job using their women as real athletes with some sex appeal thrown in. And to think 15 years ago the WWF simply abandoned women's wrestling period, with WCW having none to speak of, period.

  • @KornmanUNstoppable

New Jack didn't do high spots like that regularly, just at rare pay per view events.

And the XPW scaffolding match he didn't go down, he just chucked Vic Grimes down there, and there were tables to break the fall. The lack of tables in the last spot of this video is what really made it so dangerous from that height.

  • @Writersblock39 YOU! Win. Epic win.

  • @staff50ord There is no "these days". Goofy costumes and personas have been a staple of Japanese and Mexican pro wrestling since at least the seventies.

  • What's with the goofy costumes these days?

  • @alpha um New Jack did stuff like that on the regular from even higher places look up his scaffold match in xpw
