  • RE the sarcastic comment about davy crockett escaping over back wall GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT

  • That was what happened in the game. It's not an historical comment.

  • I rember when I was like 10 when I was at the Alamo and they had a lil model of the battel with small figures and I said "Mommy look at all the Mexicans".

  • Hi. The painting or the playing? All of the figures are painted by a pro painter, so no time taken there. The playing means meeting up with friends having a few beers ... and a fun game to boot!

  • Hiya, the rulebook we used was Warhammer Historical Legends od the Old West - The Alamo. They also do plenty of other books from The Age of Arthur to Vlad the Impaler! Check out their website, you can buy direct from there.

  • @martnickv1: I forgot to ask in my other comment, what sourcebook are you using? I know you said this is Warhammer Historical but there are soooo many sourcebooks.....

  • Hey, I am doing Warhammer Historical but I am mainly doing medieval-style games as my army is the Warhammer Empire force. I just take out the wizards and the crazy fantasy stuff and I can represent anyone from England to France to the Holy Roman Empire....

  • Just one little thing, 10:11 Crockett's body was identified by Susanah Dickinsen and Francisco Ruiz in the churchyard area in front of the chapel which was the last area of the final battle along with the bodies of several other Tennesee defenders under Crockett's command. I'm not going to get into wheither he died fighting or surrendered just because I doubt we'll ever know for certain. Anyways this really is an outstanding model.

  • why dont they make realistic little figures that dont have those dumb looking stands and disproportionate body parts? the building structures were great but those little guys werent so good

  • wow put on on my birthday

  • @PSJordan20 Yes there are rules look up wargamming
