  • Forget separating paper and plastic, this is REAL recycling. A man went rummaging through the scrapyard and came up with something real good. Out of curiosity, I need to learn to weld to build one of these, could I get by with arc welding or would I need to learn mig welding?

  • @Darthbelal yes get a welder and learn or find some one who can I had a great time and looking forward to building my next one'

  • Great Informational Video...

  • A real inspiration, I'm just gathering all my parts together to start my own project. I dont think some people (my fiance for one) realize how much thought, planning and prep work goes into a mans grill. Thanks for the upload

  • What a great BBQ and a very humble builder....Top job !

  • @Jr122T thank you, I went and bought a mig welder and I need to learn to start using THAT. Not only to build a smoker, but to do a host of other projects. It's too valuable a skill to pass up on.

  • @Darthbelal a arc welder will work, you just need to know how to use it. Im currently in the process in building my smoker, i use a arc welder (i payed like 100 bucks for it) my welder came from harbor freight, it has a 8% duty cycle and is 80 amps, It works, but you just have to let it cool down between welds, If you weld it correctly , while your welding you will actually see the 2 peices of metal your welding to melt, and thats what your after, melting both the metals together.

  • Nice job, sir. I like how your grill/smoker is bigger than the Civic in your garage.

  • Cool video! Nice grill!!

  • very nice!!!

  • I like the honest presentation and the fact that he spent the time looking for bargains and recycled different items to incorporate into the design. The design is quite nice especially incorporating the elevating grill with the smoker. Nice Job.

  • You're the man! This is the real deal welded up man project; no kiddo trash barrel project for sure....

    Thumbs up on your workmanship.........
