The reason why I am recording a video on a video is because my old tutorial was blocked in all country;s with internet because of copyright sound. I know that this is an old game, but there probably are people that want to know how to play it on cheap operating systems.

-Before anything create a folder in a safe spot like your desktop. Name is KOTOR2 Directory.
-First open PlayOnLinux. You can install it on Ubuntu Software Center
-Search Star Wars and click on KOTOR2
-Click forward and insert CD 1. DO NOT click forward before you have the disk in and you can see it on your desktop. This goes for all CD's
-Insert the next 3 CD's and click forward.
-Accept everything. Next
-When it asks where to install it browse and click your KOTOR2 Directory folder. Next
-Where it says program folder type KOTOR2 Directory. Next
-At the end of installation put in the play disk. Browse media to KOTOR2_1 OK
-DO NOT install DirectX. Next
-Finish Patch
-Go back to the PlayOnLinux window.
-Click Forward. You're decision on config, widescreen, and shortcut.
-Click Yes when it asks to patch the game. After that it is patched. Configure
-To get sound go to Wine Config
-Go to audio tab
-If you have Nvidia click Alsa driver. If not, then click OSS
-Change hardware acceleration to Emulation.
-Sample rate 4800 and Bits 16. Apply
- Go to drivers from Applications.
-Activate the Recommended one.
-Now Download the No-CD Crack.
-Extract only the file named swkotor2.exe to your desktop.
-Go to KOTOR2 Directory rename the original swkotor2.exe to backup.exe and drag it to your desktop.
-Then put the CD crack file into your directory. Now play the game from the short cut.
-If the shortcut doesn't work go to properties, permission tab, and check off the little box.
-Now you are all done. Have Fun!
