Carrie didn't get dropped after her first album bc she was good and America loves her. Taylor can sing I'll give him that but he's not as good as Carrie or daughtry for that matter...and he got dropped after first album bc America didn't love him like they thought they did when he was singing everyone else's songs

@xohsnapp he did not reach superstar status but is definitely still laughing all the way to the bank with his personal tours and a fair record sales base -- look at Bucky Covington and he didn't even make it to the final two - the second place and lower (top 5) many have done quite well for themselves - they had a chance to be noticed and they have American Idol on their resumes!

@yesitsme9 ...You can't really deny that..he hasn't done ANYTHING...they both got dropped by their record deals but Katharine McPhee did The House Bunny..where'd Taylor go?

It's so cool that fans of so many other Idols came here to watch Taylor! Thanks guys! Taylor is arguably the most talented winner EVER to come out of Idol. It's too bad they were looking for a pop singer. Taylor is a bluesman. Always was, always will be.

@xohsnapp yeah and the reason he isn't on the news or does interviews much is because of the fact hes not on a major label hes in his own label and people with independent labels don't get much exposure what if carrie underwood got dropped after her first album? the same thing would of happend to her...

@xxY2JLEDGENDKILLERxx yeah but he's never in the news. kellie has become a huuuge country star, chris has become a huge rock star, katharine's been in a movie that did pretty well, and according to IMDB she's done/doing more movies.
