OMG. I LOVE HER.....The best soap ever - She was the greatest. You didn't mess with Rachel.......She'd "been there, done that" no matter what the circumstances were. A great character,.awesome actress... Watched from the late 60's almost to the very end (I thought the show really wasn't very good once Carl Hutchins and Rachel got married (Didn't he try to KILL her a couple of times? I'm all for forgiveness, but ....hey....). I had a hard time following their storyline together because of that

This was when we had actual "soaps" to watch -- so conversation rich instead of visual/location rich.

these two were made for each other.they climbed a lot of mountains to get to where they were,in amongst the stars!!!i really miss another world.

@Goldenrod636 Rachel hated Blaine because she was a gold-digger. Over time her character reformed and became suitable for Sandy, who was fighting a gold-digger of his own (Cecile).

I don't get why Blaine went from Jamie to Sandy. Why did Rachel hate Blaine and why did she marry Sandy?

the chemistry between these two was so incredible; at times it was gut-wrenchingly tough to watch; it was THAT good.
