Michael Brunnock & Glen Hansard ~ The Orchard

The Orchard by Michael Brunnock, from his to be released album 'The Orchard'. We hope to release the album, early Spring 2012, to coincide with the movie 'This must be the place. Which stars Sean Penn, Frances McDormand, Judd Hirsch, Eve Hewson(Bono's daughter) and directed by Paolo Sorrentino. Michael was asked by David Byrne to sing six songs on this movie.

Glen Hansard from The Swell Season/The Frames is guest vocalist on this track. It was great to have Glen into the studio while he was in town recording his own album. Colm Mac Con Iomaire is also featured on the new album. What wonderful people to have had the opportunity to play with.

Has Glen Hansard ever touched anything that didn't turn to GOLD?!!! I will see this movie and I will love it I am sure. I adore Glen Hansard, he is my favorite artist of all times and I hope I get to see him perform live at least one time in this life. Love him love him love him!
