Teochew Opera: 延春救主 4

Young loyal Warrior Xu is hurrying away from the capital, carrying the baby prince to safety to escape the newly-crowned Emperor and his henchmen. He is captured by fair Maiden Guan who falls in love with him; unaware that the baby he is holding is the prince that the Emperor is searching for. She is simply a lovelorn lady who is interested in finding a way to persuade this handsome young warrior to accept her in marriage. The Warrior is intent on saving the life of the baby prince and has no time to contemplate her advances.

Female xiaosheng 林燕云 as Warrior Xu, and huadan 吴奕敏 as fair Maiden Guan. The GuangDong Province Teochew Opera Academy First Company 广东潮剧院一团, performing on 15th Dec 2011 at the Kreta Ayer Peoples' Theatre, Singapore.
